Life is often unfair. Perhaps no one knows this better than the families we serve. For Denise and Chelsea, however, receiving a house made life a little bit closer to fair.
When life with Chelsea’s father became unbearable, Denise was forced to leave. Without a stable home, she lost custody of 4 year old Chelsea, who desperately missed her mother. Without her daughter, Denise threw herself into her work and was able to buy a piece of land. A generous Baja Bound group not only built a house, but created a home for this mama and her little daughter. Today Chelsea spends most of her time with her mother, knowing that she is safe, cozy, and loved.
