A vision between friends
Baja Bound began when a group of friends in San Diego had a vision to change lives on both sides of the border. Over the years we’ve worked across the Tijuana, Tecate, and Ensenada areas.

The fields changed everything
We became aware of the dramatic needs of immigrant communities traveling north to work the agricultural fields of Baja — and stumbled across a magnificent plan to build an incredible home quickly and affordably. The rest is history.

30+ years in, we're still building
We identify families ready for housing, connect them with groups from the USA, and provide every needed element for the trip of a lifetime — alongside our Mexico partner, Rumbo Al Valle de la Libertad.
Breath-taking beauty. Desperate poverty. Real hope.
The agricultural areas surrounding Ensenada represent hope and a new life for waves of field workers arriving from Southern Mexico and Latin America — yet many hardworking families are forced into sub-standard dwellings that are unhealthy and unsafe.
